Jordan Comar
Jordan Comar
Saints
For a first week's game, the battle between Saints and Kick In a Box had a playoff feel with clutch kicking and jaw dropping defensive plays. No play was more clutch or spectacular than the play turned in by Jordan Comar. In the sixth inning while Kick In a Box was trying to make a rally to tie the game, Jordan came out of no where to make a diving catch to take away a sure base hit in any other game. Jordan's defensive play along with his timely kicks helped propel to a hard fought one run win. Good Luck the rest of the season Jordan.

Robby Miller
Robby Miller
Ballard Bruisers
A few names come to mind when I think about the POTW. Names like Ken Griffey Jr and Willie Mays. Robby would have made them proud the way he played in center. He started off by making a deep over-the-shoulder catch that was sure to be extra bases. Then in that same inning ran all the way over to leftfield to make a sliding catch right before the ball hit the ground. And just to add the cherry on top, he made one more over-the-shoulder catch that had the other team wondering where they had to kick it where he wouldn't catch it. Way to play Robby!

Sok Pok
Sok Pok
McNaul Kickballers
Sok is tough as a $2 steak with nails in it. She made a bunch of catches at 3rd base, got on base almost everytime up, and scored a couple runs. And she did it all while nursing an earlier injury. Sok ran the bases like a bat outta hell like her injured leg didn't bother her. Way to tough it out Sok.

This weeks player of the week goes to Alex M. for his excellence kicking the ball. Alex approached the plate twice with the bases juiced and sent the ball flying into the cement boundry for 2 Grand Salami's. Great game Alex, and way to knock the runs in!

Julie Jordan
Julie Jordan
Ballard Bruisers
Julie Jordan showed up to the park with her game face which included her pattened sun glasses and her "I mean business" smile. Julie was all about business when she stepped on the field as she was making great defensive plays and being a menace on the base path for both of her teams as she had a double header. From her play, I could see why she is a hot commodity and why both teams were trying to claim her ahead of next week's battle between her two teams. Keep up the good work Julie and good luck next week.

Jim Schuknect
Jim Schuknect
McNaul Kickballers
Jim came to the park nursing an injkury on his kickiing, but that did not stop him from contributing to his team, McNaul Kickballers. When his team fell behind early in the game, Jim made the most of his opportunity by knocking in a couple of runs to help McNaul Kickballers cut the lead. Jim did not stop there as he kept on getting on as base and driving in runs to help McNaul Kickballers obtain a hard fought win. Keep up the clutch kicking JIm and get better.

Rashad Brown
Rashad Brown
The Kickball Team
Rashad Brown put on an incredible display in center field on Thursday. He was seemingly everywhere in the outfield, chasing down fly balls left and right, and completely dominating the game defensively. On offense Rashad ran the base paths with abandon, and displayed great awareness in scoring several runs for his team.

Most people on their birthday would of skipped the game and went straight to the bar, but not Adam. He celebrated the day by legging out a couple of hits and flying around the field snagging fly balls. Great game and happy birthday Adam!

Jen brought some sticky fingers tonight that came into play more than once. After being moved from third base to the outfield, Jen showed her team that not only does she have range, but talent too.
On a line drive down the line, she snared a ball that no one gave her a shot at catching. Great game Jen!

Amy Dyck
Amy Dyck
The Kickball Team
Amy Dyck had a great day at the plate and blasted the ball in the first inning further than any other player on this day. Just missing clearing the grass field by inches in what resulted as an RBI ground rule double. Not only was Amy great at the plate but she also made two outstanding catches in right field and came out smelling like a rose when she avoided the covered dog poop to record the final out of the ball game!

Tommy Dinneen
Tommy Dinneen
Drunk & Lookin to Score
In an epic playoff battle, Tommy was just the spark his team needed to pull off the huge comeback victory. With his team being down most of the game and by as much as 7 runs at one point, he would not let his team quit. Tommy was always rallying the troops and keeping hope alive. Almost fittingly, with the score tied in the bottom of the 7th and runners at 1st and 2nd Tommy came to the plate and brought the victory home with a walk off single. Way to never give up hope, great game!

Chris Wade
Chris Wade
Drunk & Lookin to Score
Chris seemed to save his best play for when it really counted. From the first inning Chris showed he wanted to win a championship by the defensive play he made by throwing out a player at first from his third base position. This was only the start as Chris seemed to have no regard for his body as he was making diving catches all over the field. His defense was infectious as other player from Drunk & Looking to Score started making superb plays as well. Chris's defense help lead Drunk & Looking to Score to the championship. Way to lead by example Chris!
