Salute Your Courts
After getting a bit frustrated with his rusty volleyball skills in the first match, Andrew picked it up to be a rock star in the second. Serving was where he rocked it most as he went on many serving streaks through out the three games. Andrew also got his jumping legs back and was high flying at the net for many attacks. While his skills might have been shaky in the first round, it didn't take long to get back in the groove.

After hustling in to the gym a little late Donella jumped right on the court ready to rock. She showed off her skills especially on the back line. Donella came out firing away and served the team to two victories.

Neon colors weren't the only thing attracting eyes to the center court tonight, Dan was coming at the net like a spider monkey. His long arms and legs were flailing about as if independent from his body and landed squarely on the ball 90% of the time. Dan was on fire and having a blast!

Matt had cat-like reflexes tonight on defense. Matt would find anyway possible to get a hand on a ball coming down on his side of the net. A highlight consisted of Matt jumping to block a spike where the spiker hit the ball away from Matt, but with quick instincts, Matt stretched with one hand to knock the ball back down. Showing is offensive skill set, Matt showed that he had great passes and sets as well. Any one on one battles at the net, Matt was sure to win. Great job tonight Matt!

Clare and her team, Find the Hole, face a dominant opponent in Balls? Balls. Balls! After splitting the first two sets, Clare stepped up her game in a big way. With outstanding passing ability and great defense, Clare helped keep her team neck and neck with the opposition. Then it was Clare's turn to serve. Her great accuracy gave her team multiple straight points, pushing Find the Hole over the top to defeat this power house. Clare, you were and Ace!
