Liquid Courage
There was no better choice for player of the week honors than Angel Cole. Angel's offense was great as usual as she routinely was on base. Once on base she was a terror on the base path scoring a couple of runs. As good as her offense was Angel's defense was better especially when in counted. Angel played gold glove defense and made spectacular plays when Harvey Ball Bangers was trying to make a comeback. Angel's all around play was a major contributor to Liquid Courage picking up win to continue their winning streak from last season. Keep up the good work Angel the sky is the limit.

Last Minute
There was no other option for Player of the Week honors than Scott Pawlak from Last Minute. We have all heard the expression "he left it all out on the field", well Scott did that both literally and figurely. With his team trailing most of the game, Scott was the spark that got his team going. First, he made a great diving catch that left some of his skin in the dirt. Then on his next time up to bat, he reaches base by sliding into first base to avoid a ball that was thrown at him. Lastly, with his team trying to mount a rally in the bottom of the seventh, Scott was able to reach base to potentially become the winning run. The next kicker from Last Minute was able to drive the ball to the outfield, which gave Scott the opportunity to score from first. Scott was able to score the winning run, by sliding into home plate to yet again avoid an out. After the game you could see Scott was exhausted from all his effort, but he was smiliing since Last Minute was able to get the win. Scott should be proud of his performance as it is one of the best I have seen in Kickball.

Double Headers
Ballsagna, Peanut Butter Jelly Time

Daniel Dahl
Daniel Dahl
Ballsagna
There was no more deserving player for player of the week honors than Dan Dahl of Ballsagna. In the first game od a doubleheader, Dan was able to provide some stellar defense from the pitcher's mound and great offfense at the plate. However his biggest moment was scoring the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning to give Ballsagna their first win after a couple of tough one run losses. Dan and his teammates from Ballsagana, who complained at the beginnning of the night about a double header, used the momentum from the first game, superb defense and timely kicking to hold off Liquid Courage the defending champs from last season. While they did not need to win in as a dramatic fashion, the game was back and forth before Ballsagna was able to take the lead for good in the sixth inning. Keep up the momentum for next week!

Steve bryant

Harvey Ball Bangers
Steve Bryant flashed some fancy schoolyard moves and some great defense, on his way to a 6 kick performance in two contests, including two homeruns, each punctuated by a leaping dodge at the plate. His heroics kept the Ball Bangers close in their two games, and gave his teammates inspiration and some highlight material to boot. Good job, Steve!

Maura Konopinski
Maura Konopinski
Liquid Courage
Maura displayed some tough defense at second base. She came up with some nice catches from kicks and throws alike, the best coming with a runner bearing down on her from first while taking a throw from right field. Great job, Maura!

Nic Thompson
Nic Thompson
Last Minute
Nic Thompson came to the park focused and ready to win a championship. Nic was the offfensive spark plug in both of Last Minutes games.Last Minute's first game was a defensive battle until Nic used his fire power to knock in a a three run home run to give Last Minute the lead for good. In the championship game after being scouted by Ballsagna, Nic was still able to kick a home run, not any home run a grand slam. Once a again Nic's home run had given Last Minute the lead for good. Nic nice work, keep that leg warm this winter.
