Heading into the playoffs as the 6th seed the Cunetta Kickers were going to have to pull off some upsets if they were going to win the title. After soundly beating the 3 seed and narrowly escaping the 2 seed, fate seemed to be on their side.
In the championship game, they wasted no time and jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. Their win proved that Underdogs truly do get their day to shine. This championship was all the sweeter as the Cunetta Kicker's season was dedicated to a fallen teammate. Congrats kickers!!

Having a undefeated regular season is something to be proud of. But it also puts a big target on your back. That's exactly the situation Kick Yo Couch Ninjas were in come playoff time.
Both playoff matchups found the Ninjas falling behind early to a determined opponent looking to pull off the upset. But in true championship form they would not cave to the pressure, especially in the back and forth championship game. Coming down to the final inning trailing a run, the Ninjas put together one last rally to take home the title and finish the perfect season. Excellent season Ninjas!!
