I Work Out
I work out came in reloaded from their previous season bringing in a rookie with a high ceiling of potential. Grant was incredible tonight showing some mad volleyball skills. Grant was able to pass on point and block anything that came around the net. Grant is tall and long. Anytime the opposition went up for a spike, Grant was always there to corral the ball with his arms. There was no need to even contest a ball that Grant was going to hit either. Grant was going to go over you no matter what. Good luck league on stopping I Work Out from a championship this season. This team is stacked throughout their roster. Great job Grant and the rest of I Work Out

Karen "Fire Tiger" Lam
Karen "Fire Tiger" Lam
BAdgers
Karen "Fire Tiger" Lam showed up tonight with an unusual intensity. The source of which remains unknown (some think it was the alignment of the stars - others blame it on some spicy pre-game cocktail). Needless to say, she was a fiery ferocious feline hungry for some fun!
She became a one woman defensive masterpiece. She whipped back and forth in the backcourt so fast that she had the opposing team seeing stars. And let me tell you about stars: They're hot, they're dangerous, and they bring life to their solar system! Karen may not have been fueling an entire system of planets, be she was fueling her team tonight. She was pulling balls that seemed impossibly out of reach back into her team's grasp. In a single play she dug a ball in the left back of the court - then the right back of the court - and then even managed to dig a short tip. She was a Tiger tonight - a fiery hot tiger of volleyball defense. For this we would like to award Karen "Fire Tiger" Lam our Player of the Week!

Keagan Rogers
Keagan Rogers
Team Air Bud
Keagan killed it tonight leading Team Air Bud to two straight victories. A force at the net, Keagan made sure nothing was crossing the plane with his out-stretched arms. Keagan also brought the house down with his thunderous spikes. His elevation left his opponents gawking until his spikes brought them out of their dazed state of mind. Team Air Bud looks to be the real deal behind some amazing players and are taking their 3 game winning streak into the Thanksgiving bye week. Great job Keagan.

Wilson Wonderdogs -Indy #1
This weeks Player Of The Week goes to Molly. Molly showed hustle and determination tonight against a tough opponent. Though her efforts may still have fallen short, her skills were definitely on notice. She had no fear getting her knees a little banged up and she sprawled to the ground countless times to dig a ball from the ground. Great passes led to easy offensive transitions. She had it all working tonight. The Wilson Wonderdogs were down a few players tonight, but the contributions of Molly enabled them to not miss a beat. Great job tonight Molly!

Sets In the City
Sets in the City represented themselves very well tonight. The main reason for their high level of play would go to Kendall. Kendall played absolutely fantastic tonight. She covered the court like she was playing 1 vs 6 and she did it just fine. Kendall has a knack for the game on all levels. She even lit up the court with some impressive serving. Great job tonight Kendall. You played amazing.

509 Block Party
509 Block Party had to pull out all of the stops tonight in a nail biting face off against the Infectious Agents. 509 Block Party came into tonight expecting to play a potential double header but failed to do so when their first opponents forfeited. Kelli kept everyone on point as they waited an hour to face off against the 2nd seeded Infectious Agents. Mostly known as a pure passer, Kelli dominated the game at the net. She feared no spiker tonight as she jumped to contest every hit, usually getting a hand on the ball to slow it down. And when it was her time to hit, you could bring the whole team and she would still smack it over you. Kelli was also the main communicator, directing her team to the needed spots to put away the Infectious Agents. Well done Kelli. You and the rest of the 509 Block Party go and enjoy the holidays. Come January, get ready to take home that championship!
