Late Fall Big Turkey Bowling at Sunset Thursdays 9:15pm

We've said it before here and we'll say it again: POTW isn't always about your score. Sometimes players just have an extra spark of inspiration that we like. Take for example Jessi "Grandma Honey" Mierzwa. Her nickname says it all as Jesse rolls every single ball of every single game- you guessed it- grandma style. The results? Mixed. She knocked down a few strikes and just missed a turkey in her first game, but it's sure tough to get those corner pins from that position. Her methods did however inspire other male bowlers to employ a 'grandpa style', wherein they would roll, have their prostate checked, yell at some kids to get off their damn lawn, and then fall asleep before the ball hit the pins.

In a hard fought 3-1 victory, Indy 1 rolled by Big Ern. This was in large part to David Sceppa, who had the high score in both games for the winners. Congrats from the Big Turkey to David and the rest of Indy 1 on a big victory.

Nate "The Great" Olson was the man for Only Here for Beer. Nate had all the right moves, putting up the scores that made the difference for the winners. Not only is Nate great, but Only Here for Beer is great too as they joined an elite group of Big Turkey Bowling teams to repeat as champions.
