Po'okela
This week at First Baptist Midcore Monday's was action packed with big hits, hard blocks, and super saves, however, there was one player who seemed to be unstoppable through it all: Jon N from Po'okela. Jon began his nightly reign towering above the net with his impenetrable blocks and masterminding kills. Jon mapped out the court like eagle scoping out its prey from above. Additionally, Jon's tactful tips and sets helped surge the entire Po'okela team to their 3-0 victory. There's no telling what Jon will bring to next week, but we know we can't wait to see! Congrats Jon on being this week's Player of the Week!

Morning Missiles
First Baptist Midcore Monday night was introduced to its stealthiest player: Rachel G from Morning Missiles. Rachel hustled about the court in such covertness she could even give an Navy Seal a surprise! Her super sneaky-yet calculated- tips brought sheer bewilderment to her opponents. Additionally, Rachel was able to strategically able to pinpoint the exact location of each of her incredible spikes-that even no amount of radar could see them coming! Her precision on the court and her solid wall like blocks made Rachel a force that no one will be able to forget! Congrats Rachel on being this week's Player of the Week!

Matt Kreamer
Matt Kreamer
Morning Missiles
During the final match of the game, Matt stood out as a leader on his team.

One teammate said "Matt is a silent leader; he never gives himself recognition."

Throughout the 3 sets, Matt, the team's coach, communicated with his team, made his plays, and showed excellent sportsmanship.

If you get the chance to see the Morning Missiles play in the future, make sure to notice how Matt lives out what Underdog is all about: Fun, Competition, and Safety.

I'd Hit That!
This week at Monday Nights at First Baptist was another action packed night of volleyball, but alot of the action can be credited to Hunter P. of I'd Hit That! This player dropped in relatively unannounced until he unleashed his dominating serves and aces onto the court. After unleashing his reign of aces, he continued to shock opponents with his amazing dives and brilliant saves that almost seemed unfathomable! Along with some tactful digs and precision sets, Hunter helped lead his team onto some impressive rallies with their opponents which lead to their three match victory. Congrats Hunter to being the Player of the Week!

Shirley Leung
Shirley Leung
Indy #15
First Baptist Midcore Monday's always brings some of the best volleyball players in Underdog to its court. One of those players being Shirley L. from Indy #15. Shirley has one of the best attitudes on the court and is the "spirit leader" of the Indy #15 team. She always shows up to matches with a smile on her face, ready to play, and encourages and praises all her teammates during game play. However, her greatness doesn't stop there! Shirley is also a great all-around player who can set some fantastic assists for power plays or rack up aces with her tactful serves. Shirley is a fantastic player to watch and truly embodies the Underdog spirit.
Congrats Shirley on being this week's Player of the Week!

We have VD.....Volleyball Dominance
As playoffs began at First Baptist Midcore Monday's, the league was introduced to breakout star player: Kyle M from VD. Kyle dominated the court tonight with his downpour and, at times, unmerciful kills. If his kills weren't enough to take, his blocks definitely set the bar for the night with his reign of towering force! Although Kyle and VD did not advance into the Playoffs, Kyle definitely made a impression on the night and gave it his all with his intense power plays and focus. Congrats Kyle on being this week's Player of the Week!

Janet Cheng
Janet Cheng
Po'okela
Final night at Monday Night Volleyball at First Baptist was full of player anticipation and adrenaline as they all geared up for Playoffs in hopes to become League Champions. For Janet Cheng's team, Po'okela, after 6 intense matches of game play they were able to come out on top as League Champions! While the team as a whole did a amazing job, Janet Cheng really stood out, not only at tonight's games, but throughout the entire Underdog season. Janet's great attitude and sportsmanship during games really set her apart from most players as she was not only quick to give praise and encouragement to her fellow teammates, but to opposing players as well. Additionally, she proved to be an outstanding all around player as well from her amazing serves all the way to her knockout kills. Janet embodies the true Underdog player spirit and really expresses her love of the game of volleyball. She has been a great player to watch over the past few weeks and we hope to see her and the rest of Po'okela again for another Underdog volleyball season. Congrats Janet to being this week's Player of the Week!
