POTW: Evan Soderquist
Star Bar, Reunited and it feels so good
Star Bar's Evan Sonderquist booted a grandslam that really opened the game up. Most Cascade in-the-park homeruns are usually doubles plus throwing errors. Evan's was legit because he kicked it to an empty spot in the field used his speed to score.

Very honorable mention goes to Sara Giuffrida, whose pitching accounted for 5-6 K's.

POTW: Dan Wartelle
Franus
Dan Wartelle had an excellent game for franus and led his team to a close victory this week against the Ligers. Not only did Dan pitch a great game and contribute on defense but Wartelle kicked his first Kickball Home Run this year. The Home Run was a key kick in the Victory as the Ligers who mounted a nice comeback but came up just a bit short, thanks to Wartelle and Franus' team defense.

POTW: Wilmot, Cerissa
Picked Last in Gym Class
On a rain-soaked night which made catching the ole red rubber ball elusive, Cerissa came out of nowhere to make 5-6 impressive catches. Because of the wet conditions people were slipping and sliding all night. Cerissa, while playing in jeans, made several sliding catches.

POTW: Eric Rodriguez
Picked Last in Gym Class
Picked Last In Gym Glass showed some heart on Monday night down at Cascade. Down big and shutout through five innings, it looked like it was only going from bad to worst for the gang. Eric Rodriguez wasn't going down without a fight, though. The team's pitcher got them started on a bottom of the sixth rally to score four well-earned runs. It may not have got them a win, but for a minute, the Orange Crushers were running scared, and the Gym Class gang looked like champions.

POTW: Brad Heinz
The Ligers
Brad Heinz not only kept his teammates in the game with some great kicks but he also kept them alive with his key defensive stops. Playing shortstop, one of the toughest positions, he repeatedly climbed the ladder to foil kicks from Indy #1 that would normally go into left field. Even the opposing team was amazed at his jumping ability and key stops. Great Job Brad! Keep up the good work.

PLAYOFFS
POTW: Mark Ruybal
Star Bar, Reunited and it feels so good
Mark Ruyball had an exceptional game. His contributions were two fold. He had some great kicks but it was his stellar defense that secured the win this week. With the bases loaded, he had the key twin killing that got Star Bar out of the inning without allowing a run. The game was decided by one run and if it were not for Mark's pivotal play, who knows what the outcome would have been. Thank you mark for displaying the skills worthy of player of the Week!

POTW: Marilee Randall
Star Bar, Reunited and it feels so good
Down 6-7 with one out in the top of the 7th, Marilee made a fullspeed head-first slide into home to score the tying run. Her slide was just a couple of inches below the would-be kill shot.

POTW: Rachel Walker
POTW: Rachel Walker
Picked Last in Gym Class
Rahcel was a key player in the Picked's last win. Rachel had a couple of key kicks to keep the momentum going during the team's at bats but her key contribution was her pitching and decision making in the field when Chuck Norris Roundhouse Kickers were batting. Underdog will definitely be looking for key contributions from both teams next season. Great job Rachel.
