What an exciting game to ump! Star Bar opened the game by scoring 2 runs in first, to which the Ants countered with 2 runs in the bottom of the inning. The Ants took a 3-2 lead in the 2nd, with Star Bar tying the game in the 3rd.
The Ants again answered by scoring another run in the 3rd to take a 4-3 lead. After a scoreless 4th, both teams scored 2 runs apiece in the 5th.
The Ants added an insurance run in the home half of the 6th to take a 7-5 lead in the 7th. However, Star Bar still had a few tricks up their sleeve.
Star Bar exploded with 5 runs in the 7th to take a 10-7 lead. Leading the way was Marilee Randall. Running from 3rd on fielder's choice, Marilee never hestitated as she made a fullspeed head-first slide into home to not only avoid the kill shot, but also tie the game.
The Entellium Ants were not able to rally in the bottom of the 7th, going 3-up-3-down.
