POTW: John Boline
Gutt'r Dun
Big Turkey Bowling at Imperial Lanes wouldn't be the same without Gutt'r Dun and their cast of characters. Leading the way on opening night was none other than their captain, John Boline. After losing their first game by 67 pins, John rallied the troops and stepped up his game as well, leading Gutt'r Dun to a 69 pin win in the second game and a two pin margin of victory in overall pin-count.

POTW: Hane, Ryan
Up Dog!
Congratulations to Ryan Hane on earning our Player of the Week award. Even though you bowled a modest 125 and 106 and your team didn't capture any league points this week, your antics kept your team's spirit up. Whether it was tequila shots, yelling for a teammate, or scribbling on your scorecard, you did what it took to keep having a good time.

You and your team's spunk showed how much fun Big Bowl Turkey can be...even when you're losing. And fun's what the league's all about!

Theme Night - aka TV Show Night
POTW: Sylvester Crumwell, Jr
Indy #1
Sylvester came out tonight in true Underdog form. In spirit of the theme "Boob Tube", Sylvester came dressed as Carlton from the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. To take his costume to the next level, Carlton was armed with his own Ipod and mobile speakers. He blasted "It's not unusual" by Tom Jones while he performed a perfect rendidtion of the Carlton Dance. Sylvester would bust out with this same dance with every strike and spare.
Sylvester also won the individual prize for best costume. Instead of an acceptance speech, he performed his famous Carlton dance as he accepted his prize ticket. The entire alley exploded in laughter and applause. Way to show the essence of the Underdog spirit Sylvester!

POTW: Sam Sy
Balls of Fury
In a match-up of two of last season's playoff teams, Sam Sy had the hot hand on Tuesday night. He bowled a 185 and then a 205. His 205 in Game 2 was the difference in leading his team to a 10-pin victory over Balls and Racks.

POTW: Carmen Hernandez
X-Women
You've got to admire X-Women's spirit. They travel with a full entourage and cheering section. Whether they bowl a strike or only knock down 6 pins, they constantly cheer for one another.

And right in the middle of all this cheering is Carmen Hernandez. She bowled a very consistant 123 and 119 on the night while contributing the team's cheery and encouraging nature.
