They started as strangers all timid and shy but they ended as champions. Led by captain Bryan Owens, who bowled a 198 and a 192 by the way, the "Beer Charms" walked in ready to set history (in my Underdog tenure anyway). Game one presented no problems for them as they surpassed "The Beevs" collective score by over 100 pins.
Game two definitely posed a more significant threat as they faced off against the ever so consistent "Bowling Green" team in their fancy bowling shirts. The uniformity of "Bowling Green" posed no threat for "Beer Charms" personal bowling balls.
The tense final matchups of the Spring BTB Wednesday night league will go down amoung the final pages of Sunsets best.
