Kicktastrophe, Manhandlers, Midget Assassins, The Ballers
POTW: Fletch La Barge
The A-Team - Indy #1
The indy team spent most of their first game playing from behind as Caffe Ladro Foamballs built up a nice lead on them. After a big rally in the top of the 7th, though, they took a lead of 6-4 into the bottom half of the inning. Caffe Ladro wasn't giving up, though, adding a run and putting runners on first and second with only one out in the inning. Just when it looked like the A Team's bid for a comeback win might fall short, FLetch La Barge closed the door with a game ending unassisted double play- first making a diving catch at the mound, and then rushing to second to force out a runner who failed to tag. Fletch's clutch play was only overtaken by his fun and carfree attitude, as he got the indys off to a great start.

POTW: Fletch La Barge
The A-Team - Indy #1
Fletch! He brought the enthusiasm and the fun. Fletch put on a model display of kickball. At kick, he put some good wood on the ball and stayed dangerous on the basepaths. On defense, he played shortstop to a level that even the 'Wizard', Ozzie Smith, would applaude. But most importantly, he fueled the team spirit!
Caffe Ladro Foamballs, Kick Tease, Naughty By Nature, The Ballers
POTW: Chad Campbell
The A-Team - Indy #1
Campbell provided strong all-around play on both sides of the ball for the A-team. He used his quickness behind the plate to track down the opponents' bunts and also sped his way to a 3-run home run when his team needed it most.
Kicktastrophe, Manhandlers, Midget Assassins, The A-Team - Indy #1
POTW: David Eraker
Naughty By Nature
David was the first man bunt of the game! He held his head high even though it was a shameful out. His next turn up, he came back strong with a full swing!

POTW: Rita Doherty
The Ballers
Rita supplied the ballers with stellar defense and pitching on their way to a sound victory this Monday. Despite being her first game ever, she brought a great attitude and reminded us why kickball is so much fun.
Caffe Ladro Foamballs, Kick Tease, Midget Assassins, The Ballers
POTW: Brendan Henry
Kicktastrophe
Brendan provided a much needed spark for the Kicktastrophe offense, getting on base several times in the game. He drove in a run and scored one himself, always taking the extra base and helping his team any way he could.
Midget Assassins, Naughty By Nature, The A-Team - Indy #1, The Ballers
POTW: Dirk Curtis
Caffe Ladro Foamballs
Playing in his first game, Curtis provided excellent defense at third and solid kicks at the plate for the Foamballs. With one out and a close score in the fourth inning, he managed to get his team out of a jam by completing an unassisted double play and keep the Foamballs in the game.
Pete's team was down, he continued to make plays to keep his team afloat. At crunch time, he needed an inning to end. Pete made that happen by making a triple play against the kicking team.
Manhandlers, Naughty By Nature, The A-Team - Indy #1, The Ballers
POTW: Sean Kollenkark
Midget Assassins
Sean, a wily kickball veteran, brought out the lead foot tonight. He didn't see a Foamball pitch he didn't like.
Going 4 for 4 with multiple runs knocked in, Sean led the Midget Assassin offensive outpouring. On defense, he sucked up any ball that came his way at first base, call him "The Hoover"...
The A team put together another dramatic win this Wednesday, and they did it as a team, with contributions on all sides. A few big kicks here and there brought them back in a game they trailed most of the time. However, the play of the game came at the end. Clinging to a tennuous one run lead in the bottom of the inning on defense, the A Team got themselves into a bases loaded jam with two outs. Dorell from the Manhandlers, who earlier in the game kicked the snot out of a ball for a three run home run, stepped to the plate. However, this time his scorching line drive was snagged by the first baseman, and that was the game- the A Team holding on for another big win.
