Fall Midcore Kickball at Mountlake Terrace Wednesdays

Mike put together a terrific performance on his double-header night. Playing shortstop, there seemed to be a gravitational pull of the kickball to him all night!
He must have recorded half his teams outs...
On offense, there was controversy over whether he had inserted a metal tip in his shoes, because the ball just launched off his foot on this night.
Great all around game, and steady production Mike!
And a smile to boot...

This weeks player of the week goes Jen Harter of the "Bad News Beers". It was her tough attitude, and great plays that earned her this weeks honors. It was early in her game when she took a mean shot off her throat and face on a very hard kick, which would have kept many players down and out, but not her. The following inning she got on base, then soon after mad an unbelievable catch diving to get the out in left field! Great job Jen!!

Despite the torrential downpour, a few playoff games got it, and Dan made the most to continue the Danceoff Cinderella Story.
The same Pantsoff team that didn't win a single match in the Summer season, rallied back in the Fall to take the #3 seed.
On Wednesday night, amidst the muck and mud, Dan played one of his finest games.
In the outfield, Dan kept the ball in front of him, knowing that a costly error at his position likely meant multiple runs.
On offense, it was Dan's Grand Slam in 4th that tied the game and swung the momentum their way.
In the 5th inning, again Dan had found his way on base, and capitalized on base knock to push the extra base and score to put the game out of eventual reach.
