The Violent Chubbies have been here before. The Underdog veterans have been winning titles for years, but pulling off a perfect season would be an impressive feat for any squad.
Entering the playoffs as the top seed after a 6-0 regular season, the Chubbies had a big target on their back. Their opponents in the championship game, Kick Yo Couch Ninjas, have a few titles under their belt as well and gave the Chubbies a run for their money earlier this season. This championship would be no walk in the park.
With shutdown pitching and aggressive base running, the Violent Chubbies built up a modest lead early in the game. Kick Yo Couch Ninjas were hanging around hoping to pull off the upset, but like the experienced crew that they are, the Chubbies stepped on the gas and ran away with the title. Congrats go out for the undefeated season to the Underdog Kickball dynasty known as the Violent Chubbies!!

The manhandlers rolled through the regular season without a loss. To win the title, they would have to keep up their impressive winning streak.
In their first playoff game, they bulldozed past the New Kicks on the Block in blowout fashion with a 14-3 victory. In the championship game, they would face their toughest opponent, the Tequila Mockingbirds. Earlier in the season, the manhandlers squeaked by the 'Birds' with a 6-5 victory.
The championship game came down to extra innings. In the extra frame, Playoff MVP Jack Bitzer delivered the big hit the manhandlers needed to secure the championship crown. The 8-0 season will go down as one of the best in kickball history!
