The game began with a slight sprinkle, promising to make running and stopping almost impossible for either the Cobra Kai or the 5th Grade Sports Legends. Cobra Kai took an early lead, and then suddenly the 5th Graders were chomping at their heels, putting the game within 2 points, 8-6 in the 5th inning. Led by their fearless playground leader, Brandi, the 5th graders were making a play for the lead. However, Steven from Cobra Kai kept up his knack for getting double plays and the game ended in the 7th with Cobra Kai being triumphant! What a game!
