Team BEAST have played together for quite some time now and have worked out the kinks when playing together. This was especially true during their semifinals when they were able to win quickly and efficiently against their opponents. In preparation for the finals, BEAST saved their energy and watched their opponents in their semi-final match.
As the final match started both teams knew it would be a close game and fought for every point. Even with the games being close and missing their captain, BEAST was able to pull out a win in 2 games and become softcore champions! Congrats!

Fuzuf had only one match between them and the championship. After last season, when they lost the opportunity to play the finals, it was clear they would fight a lot for the title. With 6 people playing, rotating out strategically was key. Every single player of Fuzuf was helping their team and 100% focused.
Although the opponent was a really good team, it took only 2 sets to Fuzuf close the game and finally be nominated the champions! It was the result of a very solid season and much love for the game. Congrats Fuzuf! You all are amazing!

Fear the Goob have a very good connection with Alki Beach. They can play volleyball, throw a BBQ, bike around, all sort of stuff. But that diversity has been deemed the winning combination. With their semifinal match heading into three games, Fear the Goob were on the brink of elimination but they were able to pull it together and snag the last win on a serving run to take the game.
As the team advanced to the finals they had the momentum from the semifinals and motivation to finish quickly. They were able to make some big plays and come up with two wins over Notorious D.I.G and the title of Champion! Great work Fear the Goob!
