Fear the Goob have a very good connection with Alki Beach. They can play volleyball, throw a BBQ, bike around, all sort of stuff. But that diversity has been deemed the winning combination. With their semifinal match heading into three games, Fear the Goob were on the brink of elimination but they were able to pull it together and snag the last win on a serving run to take the game.
As the team advanced to the finals they had the momentum from the semifinals and motivation to finish quickly. They were able to make some big plays and come up with two wins over Notorious D.I.G and the title of Champion! Great work Fear the Goob!
Fear the Goob were ready to go this week they even did some BBQ at the beach. They were also ready to get on the court and just play! Daniel was especially ready and his serves were on point! He went on several serving runs to help take his team to two victories and the championship! His strategic placement during his serving runs kept his team on offense and there was barely a need for defense. Good job Daniel!
