Sloppy sets had a tough night ahead of them. They had to win a double header to take the overall title of champion plus most of their team bailed on the last night leaving them with the minimum number of players -3. Playing with 3 people is quite the task and Sloppy sets were able to come up with a plan and stick to it. With their tallest and most intimidating player up front the other teammates covered the back like pros! Defense was the way to the win and Sloppy Sets held their ground! Their first game against Friendship Bathers went in two games but they played a third just for fun. Their final match went one game to each team and it came down to the third game to crown the champion. Bumping Uglies held tight but the defense of Sloppy Sets won out and they were able to win the match! Great work Team!

You shall not pass had one more match between them and the championship title. There were the second time slot of the night so getting in and having a team meeting was crucial. After much discussion about how best to beat their opponents. The match would be a rematch from earlier in the season and You shall not pass wanted to stay in top as they defeated Sonova Beach 2 weeks earlier.
With superb passing, setting and serves to top it all off. The games were in You shall not pass's favor and there were able to stay focus and take the championship title in two games. With focus and a good pre-team meeting You shall not pass overcame a tough match and can now brag to their large cheering squad they brought that they are champions! Great work Team!
