Rehab is for quitters
In a first for the Everett League, Rehab proved that defense is important in this game by turning an exciting TRIPLE PLAY!

With no outs, a popup went to right field, with the catch and then throw into first which tagged the runner off.....THEN, Chopper had a runner heading for home with a solid throw the runner was just clipped!!!! AWESOME 3 OUTS!

Meg had a great game Thursday night!! Her defense and offense were spot on. On a huge play at first Meg had an amazing double play. Not only was it a double play, she did this one solo. Unassisted, in a tie game Meg pulled out all the stops for her team!! Great game!!

Jason was up to kick, he boots it, pop fly. Everyone thinks its an easy out, including Jason. He believes it so much that he flops in the first base line in an act of disgrace. Low and behold the ball is not caught!!! Jason jumps up, makes it to first, then pushes the envelope and heads for second. Stellar base running while covered in dirt!!! A pop fly became a double!! Good times for Jason.

Jaimi had a wicked 6th inning on Thursday night. She really stepped it up for playoffs. Against a tough Chopper Stopppers it was fixing to be a grudge match. But in the 6th inning Jaimi had her time to shine. In an inning where clubbabyseals needed 3 up and 3 down she contributed to 2 of those outs. First kick dropped behind the pitcher, and Jaimi had it. Second up, again good kick by Chopper, but Jaimi was there to catch it for the out. Great playing!!!!

Emily had an amazing play in the CHOPPERS second game on Thursday. In the outfield one of Shawn Kemp's players booted it over everyone's head, everyone's that is except Emily. She was determined to get the out for her team. It looks to be just out of reach, and then, she dives for the ball... And CATCHES it!!! Everyone high fives Emily as this really is the play of the week by far. Well done!
