The Choppers had 3 games to prove they were the best in the league. Their first game was not the one for them, Shawn Kemp's took an early lead in with 1 win under their belt. The next week Choppers came with something to prove. And prove they did. In a double header the Choppers had 2 decisive wind against Shawn Kemp's with a 10-03 and 08-02. There was no longer any question where the CHOPPERS stood, on top.
Emily had an amazing play in the CHOPPERS second game on Thursday. In the outfield one of Shawn Kemp's players booted it over everyone's head, everyone's that is except Emily. She was determined to get the out for her team. It looks to be just out of reach, and then, she dives for the ball... And CATCHES it!!! Everyone high fives Emily as this really is the play of the week by far. Well done!
Jason was up to kick, he boots it, pop fly. Everyone thinks its an easy out, including Jason. He believes it so much that he flops in the first base line in an act of disgrace. Low and behold the ball is not caught!!! Jason jumps up, makes it to first, then pushes the envelope and heads for second. Stellar base running while covered in dirt!!! A pop fly became a double!! Good times for Jason.
