Childhood dreams were accomplished on Sunday night at the Lower Woodlands Park as Cajones won the top prize in all of Seattle kickball. They proved their worth as number-one seed through excellent and consistent play. Cajones muscled their way through to the finals with an extra-innings effort and come-from-behind win against Stinky Fingers. A tricky Kicked Your Balls side provided excitement for the neutrals and bookies by making it to the finals as the number-eight seeded team, knocking off number-two We Pound Pitchers along the way. But Cajones won convincingly, and Jeff Cayon led the way with rock-solid defense in center field and a mean kick to go with it. Congratulations to this talented squad!
