Sarah's 5th inning kick with the bases loaded gave Mike's Hard Ballers the extra cushion that they needed in a low scoring game. She placed her kick perfectly to the left side of the infield to score 2.
"Nate the Great", as he's known among many circles, was chosen as the POW because of his dominance at the plate and on the mound. Nate's ability to flat out fly around the bases helped him in his 2 HR, 4 RBI showing. His pitching was also tip top until he gave up a lucky 3 run HR late in the 5th inning. Great work Nate and hopefully you'll come out with a W next time!
Mike's Hard Ballers and the Interns got off to a pretty even start, each plating one in the first. The Ballers slowly pulled away, however, and galvanized their precarious lead with solid D. Even Ben Morrissey contributed to the cause, making his first catch of the season, sealing the deal for Mike's.
