Amazing plays deserve special recognition and Sam's tip drill catch single-handedly won her Player of the Week Wednesday night. With all the concentration, the sure hands, and quick reflexes it took to complete the out, Sam earns a 10 for difficulty and a 10 for execution. Fantastic play Sam!
This past week, Nate put the cherry on top of his team's domineering victory with a grand slam home run. With a thunderous kick, Nate rocketed the ball into the outfield, rounding the bases in the ensuing chaos. Nate is the type of player that performs under pressure, and for that he is our player of the week.
DJ earns this week's Player of the Week award for getting on base every time, including kicking a "kickball grand slam", that is, a single with 2 errors that plated everyone with the bases loaded. Good thing we were playing kickball, as him and team were having a lot of fun out there.
