With the season coming to the long end, both teams were still ready to roll! With lots of scoring it was Dashing Turtles who came out on top, and toted the Champ shirts at the end of the day. It was the 3rd inning that helped the Turtles get momentum and stay ahead for the rest of the game, and take-over the lead with a 9 run inning! Both teams played strong all season but Turtles played a little better on this day with the score 21 to 13! Great job to all the teams that played!
This weeks player of the week goes to Emily Norland of the Dashing Turtles. She played very good defense in Right-center, coming up with great catches, except for one! But it was the bat that really earned her the honors, as she did all season, she wowed all the fans and opposing teams with her monster shots with the bat. She knocked in a lot of the runs her team needed in both games to bring home the championship! Great job Emily!
