Never Gotten to Second base came into last night as the 2 seed. They started their night off by playing the 3 seed, MCN Marmots. They trailed for most of the game but scrambled for a few runs late to pull off a 9-4 win. Lead by their captain, Tim Meyer, with a timely home run and solid defense at first. In championship, Never Gotten played a tough and determined Softest Balls team. Never Gotten battled hard for 6 innings. And again several solid base hits and scoops at first by Tim to help his team stay close. Eventually Softest Balls prevailed, but Tim had his team gave a valiant effort and had great attitudes all night. Congrats of a great season!
