Rosie Melookaran is the player of the week for Ravenna! She showed up and made a powerful statement for her team in the first round of the playoffs by solidifying her presence in right field. In the fifth inning with two runners on, the opposition was looking to chip away at the three run deficit. Rosie saved the day and the inning by making a mind-boggling, ball-bobbling, seemingly impossible catch on the foul line. Later, in the seventh inning with runners on base again and two outs, she put away the last chance with an impressive reaching grab once again to cement her player of the week performance. Terrific job, Rosie!
