This weeks honors go to the efforts of Amy Meadows of Bombardiers. In a selfless act of team preservation, down 2 to 4 in a tight semi-finals match, Amy threw herself in front of her husband and rocket-arm Ben Poort. Instead of being crushed and eliminated from play, the ball shapped into her arms from a point-blank attack to win the game and bring her team within striking distance to the Championship game. Great job Amy!
Ben had one of his usual games this week. He is a dominating player with a great arm. He displayed that arm Wednesday night by throwing and hitting every opponent in sight or so it seemed. He had some great energy out there too. He was dodging, diving and ducking his way to a good time. Great job Ben!
