What's in a name? Apparently, everything. Cinderella Story flew mostly under the radar (at least score-wise) this season, sneaking into the playoffs as a #3 seed. Yet, when the scorecards were in, the fairy tale was complete as they upset the favorite Nice Shoes, Wanna Putt for the championship. The Shoes Crew had dominated all season long, but it only took a few extra strokes here and there to leave them with a second place finish, while Cinderella Story's great consistency earned them the win.
In other news, it was Bar for the Course taking first place in our spirit competition, with their own Becky earning the fabled Green Hoodie. This gang had been great sports all season, dressing up most nights, theme or not, and generally having a blast. Becky finished off their season with an exclamation point of two holes in one.
