Player of the Week is awarded to Rob Mitchell from team Quick N Dirty. Rob helped push his team to the Softcore Championship title with a plethora of phenomenal plays: Diving catch at SS in the first inning; great defensive play off a ball that ricocheted off the pitcher in the 2nd inning; 3 run homerun in 3rd inning to put team ahead; turned an inning ending double play in the 5th inning to end bases loaded 1 out threat. Congratulations Quick N Dirty and to Rob Mitchell for their championship caliber play!!!
"The Hurdle"
Running from 1st to 2nd, the ball came flying in from right field directly in her way. Without any hesitation, KC hurdled the incoming ball and made it safely to 2nd base. It caught everyone off guard and helped her team maintain the momentum. A true athlete at Underdog Sports Leagues.
