B.I.G. T.A.B.: Another season in the books, another title earned as they roll through Shawn Kemp's Firstborn. SKF's rally in the 3rd inning knotted up the score 2-2, but BIG TAB's 4-run bottom of the 3rd put them up for good as they defeated the talented SKF 10-3.
The excitement of the night, however, came from the Softcore division as it was a Cinderella 6:30. #3 Quick N Dirty upset #2 Ballsagna thanks to a 2 run 7th inning by QND for the 4-2 win and #5 Clubbabyseals came from an 0-2 deficit to upset the favorite #1 Thunderballs 3-2. A leadoff 7th inning triple by Dave Martinez finished the come-from-behind win and Jen Harder kept the talented Thunderballs lineup at bay to see the #1 team fall early.
In the Softcore Championship game, Quick N Dirty's Rob Mitchell took the game over both offensively and defensively to push Quick N Dirty to a decisive 6-1 win over Clubbabyseals. Mr. Mitchell's 3-run homerun broke the game open in the 3rd and with Clubbabyseals threatening in the 5th inning down 1-4, Rob made a clutch 1-out bases loaded defensive double play at SS to end any hope of another Cinderella come from behind upset!
