Thursday night at Golden Gardens, BLockheads showed up ready to give their all in the beach volleyball championships. Every single team member was on top of their game. From executing some amazing saves, to powerfully and consistently serving, BLockheads seemed to be on a whole different level! Everything paid off as they took home the big win of the season. Congratulations!
On occasion, sports offer a platform for an athlete to transcend the competition and the game played. Such was the case when Stanton Marcum of BLockheads transcended beach volleyball with his incredible performance. Consistently, BLockheads turned to Stanton when they needed to make a big play. Time and time again, Stanton answered the call, recording what seems like 1000 digs and 100000 kills along the way! The big, victorious moment came in the third set when he was able to help his team overcome their opponents and take home the championship title. For his spectacular performance, Stanton is our Player of the Week! Congratulations!
