In the face of adversity, Meagan Hauser of Sandy Balls stepped up to be a true hero in Thursday night’s beach volleyball game. In the final set of the night, Sandy Balls was down and needed to make a comeback to win the game. Meagan was up to serve and to say she delivered would be an understatement. She was able to consistently serve so well that she brought her team back up from being down. Ultimately, her serving saved the game and brought home the win for her team! Meagan is our player of the week - Congratulations!
Nema Koohmaraie of Sandy Balls really brought his A-game on Thursday night at Golden Gardens. He was unstoppable as he served ace after ace, giving his team several sweet points. The other team even told Nema, “nice serve,” after he aced them a couple of times - clearly, it was a noteworthy performance for everyone in the game. For his talented serving abilites, Nema is our player of the week. Congratulations!
