When Seattle arrives people unveil their hidden talents they have hidden all winter. Brad is no exception to the rule. Being the first week of summer Brad was ready to show it all off and arrived to the court looking like a greek god! To top it all off he played with the strength and speed of a god. Nothing got by him and his team stood behind him as he lead them to win two games in the match. Great work Brad!!

Nema Koohmaraie of Sandy Balls really brought his A-game on Thursday night at Golden Gardens. He was unstoppable as he served ace after ace, giving his team several sweet points. The other team even told Nema, “nice serve,” after he aced them a couple of times - clearly, it was a noteworthy performance for everyone in the game. WOW! This is, effectively, the only way to describe Keri’s big moment on Thursday night at Golden Gardens beach volleyball. Keri Pelton of Friendship Bathers exhibited uncanny athleticism when she was able to continuously serve ace after ace. While consistent serves are great for any team, Keri took consistency to a whole different level, racking up a total of 14 points in a row! The streak of excellence was stunning enough to induce the jaws of all witnesses to hit the floor. For amazing everyone with her unbelievable skills, Keri is our Player of the Week. Congratulations!

Fearlessly, she dove after every ball that came her way, never backing down from even the hardest hits coming from the other side. In the face of adversity, Meagan Hauser of Sandy Balls stepped up to be a true hero in Thursday night’s beach volleyball game. In the final set of the night, Sandy Balls was down and needed to make a comeback to win the game. Meagan was up to serve and to say she delivered would be an understatement. She was able to consistently serve so well that she brought her team back up from being down. Ultimately, her serving saved the game and brought home the win for her team! Meagan is our player of the week - Congratulations!

On occasion, sports offer a platform for an athlete to transcend the competition and the game played. Such was the case when Stanton Marcum of BLockheads transcended beach volleyball with his incredible performance. Consistently, BLockheads turned to Stanton when they needed to make a big play. Time and time again, Stanton answered the call, recording what seems like 1000 digs and 100000 kills along the way! The big, victorious moment came in the third set when he was able to help his team overcome their opponents and take home the championship title. For his spectacular performance, Stanton is our Player of the Week! Congratulations!
