Cajun Tots

Sam brought his complete game for some Sunday playoff kickball. He got started hot offensively in the first game, the semi's--with a 2 run home run in the 2nd inning. Then, after 4 scoreless innings deadlocked at 4 runs a piece and in extra innings, Sam laced a twisting liner to right that scored the go ahead run and sent his team to the finals. In the finale, Sam was all over the defense in right field making catch after catch including an amazing running catch with bases loaded in the 5th to keep the game close. His run scored in the 6th was not enough to bring home the gold but I think Sam and the Tots will be back soon to finish the deal.

Cajun Tots

Joe had a great game on both sides of the ball in a big win for the Cajun Tots. Offensively, he helped his team extend their early lead with a 3rd inning 2 run double into center field. He followed that with a monster kick that ended up as a 2 run triple to put the game nearly out of reach. On D, he was all over the bunts from the mound making it difficult for the Honey Badgers to get base runners. Joe also locked down the hot corner at 3rd with an amazing catch on a big line drive and a big scoop and throw to second ending a rally and ensuring victory for the Tots.
