Great pitching was on display when N.A.D.S. was in the field. The other team just couldn't seem to kick their balls. That was all thanks to the wicked arm of John Schlick. John brought the heat on the mound for N.A.D.S. which improved his eye at the plate. The Mariners should send a scout out for their next game.
Alyssa Pallari played stellar defense at first base as N.A.D.S. cruised to a 11-6 victory. She made a couple of strong catches and had a several putouts at first base.
Nothing like a knockout performance on both offense and defense to "kick" the season off, and John Schlick delivered just that. A brilliant performance pitching kept N.A.D.S. opponent from scoring a run all game long, but Kickball Team No.1 wouldn't go down without a fight. Taking a 0-0 tie into the 7th inning, John yet again stepped up with the game winning single to win the first of the season! Great job John!
