It was a close one at the sand tonight, but the Volley Llamas outshined the competition. The first set was a close score, with excellent hustle by everyone on the court. They set up more offense than they ever have before and pulled a win in the first set. The next set was not any easier. With long rallies and sneaky dumps by their opponent, Volley Llamas stuck with it and never lost their spirit. An endless amount of incredible saves later, they achieved their second win, securing their championship win. Congratulations to our softcore champs, Volley Llamas!
She gave it her all out in the sand tonight. Dive after daring dive to save the ball, she shined brighter than all others. Her outstanding effort persisted throughout the entire match. Without her inspiring spirit and athleticism, the Volley Llamas would have had a tougher road ahead of them to secure the championship title. Congratulations to our player of the week, Ashley!
