Popped a Volley, I'm Sweatin'

Pete of Popped a Volley, I’m Sweatin’ was all over the court this week. Playing front and center where all eyes could see, Popped a Volley, I’m Sweatin’ dominated their match, but not without the courageous spirit of Pete. He dove left, right, forward, backwards, managing to get almost every save. He made a jaw-dropping save in the second set and killed the ball following that! Fantastic effort by Pete and his team in the sand this week. Congratulations to our player of the week!

Marilyn of Kiss My Ace was on her A-game tonight at the beach. No matter the play, she was always there to provide the perfect pass or block any incoming hit. She’s always the loudest player on the court, encouraging her teammates to call and go for the ball. Kiss My Ace couldn’t have played their best without her. For her reliability and strong leadership, Marilyn is our player of the week! Congratulations!

Whether he served up and ace or cheered for his team members on the sideline, he stayed focused and kept his team together and in the game. Alcoballics

A brand new furry friend was the spotlight of tonight’s games. Little Freya of Alcoballics was strutting her stuff out on the sand tonight. At only 12 weeks, she was skittish at first, but opened up quickly to be there when her team needed her the most. Showing off to the other team her newly achieved performances and her ability to retrieve the ball, Alcoballics’ opponent was distracted, which assisted in their triumphant victory. For her bravery in exploring her new world and for being the cutest mascot any team could have, Freya is our player of the week!

She gave it her all out in the sand tonight. Dive after daring dive to save the ball, she shined brighter than all others. Her outstanding effort persisted throughout the entire match. Without her inspiring spirit and athleticism, the Volley Llamas would have had a tougher road ahead of them to secure the championship title. Congratulations to our player of the week, Ashley!
