Sports fans - let me tell you - after 10 years of running social rec leagues, I have seen a LOT of volleyball. There was something absolutely magical about this week's 6:30pm match up. The Underdog spirit was displayed start to finish on both sides of the net and the game was just a fantastic one to watch. Thank you Chewblocca and Indy #V4 for your efforts!
Even though the match win isn't tallied in their column, Indy #v4 is this week's team of the week (there's no way to pick just one player). From sportsmanship to effort - this team gave their all and is a class act. The natural chemistry was evident in how much fun you could see them AND their opponent having. Balancing being competitive and wanting to win with the other aspects of social rec leagues is sometimes lopsided - the win is supreme... but Indy #V4 is a true Underdog team and gets that creating fun and quality effort are just as important, if not more, than logging a W.
