Congrats Kirsten from Balls In for being player the week! Coming into semi finals the pressure and intensity was high. From the first serve of the night we could all see that this game was going to be a close one... and boy it sure was the game! The first match of the night Kirsten gave it her all and gave her teammates AMAZING sets! Her sets were a huge highlight of the game and allowed her team to preform seamless three touch plays. Thanks for giving it your all, you’re amazing!!
Gabby Ivy from Balls In came in clutch for her team tonight at First Baptist. In the third match of the night, Balls In was up neck to neck with their competition. Gabby seemingly was unafraid to launch herself cross-court to dive for short balls. Some players remain hesitant to dive for balls, especially when they aren't wearing knee pads... But not Gabby!! Time after time, Gabby flung herself on the ground in order to dig balls. This resulted in crucial point winning saves that ultimately helped her team to reach victory. Like a graceful penguin, she glided on her stomach... not sure who does it better.. Amazing effort tonight Gabby, congrats on being player of the week.
