In a cinderella story, it was a meeting between the seventh and ninth seed in the championship game. It came down to the great defense of See You At Recess Bitches, who didnt allow a run for their three games of their championship journey. Along the way they survived a 1-0 thriller against Kick Diggler and then cruised to a 5-0 win in the championship.
In the closest game of the day, one play made the difference in a 1-0 victory for See You At Recess Bitches. In the fourth inning, with the game still scoreless and two runners on base something had to give. Christie Morrison was not about to let her team not score a run. So on a ground ball she ran from second to third forcing the runner ahead of her to run for the plate while sacrificing herself in order to get the run across. That run turns out to be the difference for the champions.
