Grudge Match

In the prime-time game at the end of the night two teams stepped on the field with a grudge to settle. Slammers SC and The Empty Pitchers are two teams that makes the rounds in the USL league, and when they meet-up there are fireworks. Empty Pitchers started off the game with 6 runs in the first inning and played solid defense keeping a 5 run lead the whole game to the end. The banter was fascinating for the fans, and lots of good play was witnessed from both teams. Both teams played great, but it was the Empty Pitchers that left the field with the bragging rights until they meet again. With the final score ending 19 to 13, this weeks Team of the Week is The Empty Pitchers!
