After an impressive regular season, the manhandlers earned the top seed entering the playoffs. Being the favorite to win the championship can be too much pressure for some, but not the manhandlers. In the semi-finals they shutdown the Magic Muffin balls 13-2 behind their great defense, which was led by Sarah Crowell.
In the championship game, the number 1 seed and the home field advantage that came along with it, would pay off big. In a nail biter of a game that came down to the final inning, Greg Rauch had the opportunity to provide a dramatic finish. Greg stayed clutch and drove in the championship winning run in walkoff fashion! Fantastic game!! Hats off to Pitchesdom and Buntsular, but mandhandlers get to take home the hardware! Congrats!!
