In one of the greatest, most historic comebacks in USL playoff history, the Evil Tangents came back from 15 points down in the final minute and beat What Happened Last Night? 36-35. The game winning touchdown belonged to Brandon Chang, who had to go down to his knees to catch the ball. While Evil Tangents fell short in the next round, they showed true grit and determination in their comeback victory and they can always hold their heads high, knowing that they pulled out one of the best comebacks ever.
After a rough outing in their first game, the Evil Tangents had to step up their game in the second half of their double-header if they wanted to go home with a win. Facing a tough XFL squad didn't appear to help matters. But Evil Tangents stepped up their game and rallied for a 34-28 victory, which was capped by a touchdown scored on the final play by our Player of the Week, Sharif Robles.
