Summer Co-ed Softball at Northacres Sundays

It's been a long time coming but finally Chico's has captured that ever elusive USL league title. Having to battle through two close games this team kept their composure throughout, played together and performed well under the most extreme pressure. Led by Bobby, Igor, Evan, Trey, Lexi, Wayne, Christine, Bryan, Christine, and Lisa this team has finally reached the pinnacle after all of these seasons. I have been with them from the beginning and I have seen the ups and downs that this team has gone through. To be a part of their first title is awesome and inspiring because this team never gave up, they never give up and this a true testament to never giving up and fighting to the very end. Congratulations Chico's and it's been a long time coming.

The game of the day was the high scoring/back and forth 3pm game. While Chico's came out of the gate hot, PB Army scratched and clawed their way back into the lead in the top of the 7th inning.

Down one run and with a runner on 3rd base, Lisa K came through in the clutch, hitting a ball solidly into left field to score the runner and pick up the win for Chico's.
