Player of the week is awarded to Katy Irwin from the Outkasts. Katy had the game of a lifetime going five for five at the plate in a 29-5 win over the Yukon Bears. Although both teams had a rough season, they provided the fans with one final entertaining competition for the 2008 Starbucks League. Congrats goes out to both teams for their display of sportsmanship, and to Katy Irwin for a great game played!!!
This weeks player of the week goes to Austin Bailey of "Outkast". In a game they jumped out early changed in the 5th with momentum of "Golden Sombreros" picking up speed. Austin's play at third helped with win a very close game in the end, coming up with the final out of a 1 run game! Great job Austin!!
