Fall Co-ed Softball at Lower Woodlands Wednesdays

In a game that was a battle from the start to the very end, My Salsa showed great toughness and grit grinding out a hard fought win against powerhouse Seawalks. They got out to nice lead early on and their defense was holding steady until the fifth inning when Seawalks scored three runs and went ahead by one run. Neither team scored in the sixth inning setting up a seventh and final inning that would come down to the last at bat. After Seawalks couldn't generate any insurance runs and went scoreless, it was now up to My Salsa to either tie or win the game. With one out and one on, Chris steps into the box. On the first pitch he sees he smashes a laser looper over the fence in deep right field. Game over, good night, drive safe and we will see you next week.

Heading into the playoffs we are looking to have one of the most talented and exceptional collection of softball teams that we have ever had under one roof battling it out for a league championship. The league is tough, the division itself is tougher and only reserved for the big dogs of Underdog Softball. With that being said, there is one team year in and year out who always find themselves in the mix for a league title. They have been together quite a while and have tasted a few league championships which means that they are always on the hunt for another one. PBT is a rare and raw mix of speed, power, delicious pitching and good decision making. They have played in the big games and know what it takes to get that title. When their bats get hot it's gonna be a very long night for any opposing team. They can hang 30 on you in a jiffy and hold you to less than 10 runs with some very delicious pitching and defense. It's always a pleasure watching this team play and we wish them luck during the up coming playoffs.
