Summer Co-ed Softball at Queen Anne Sundays

This weeks player of the week goes to the great performance of Jen-ai. Jen-ai hit the ball harder then anyone in both of her games on Sunday. She could've earned the POTW with just her skills in the batters box, but she went above and beyond helping her team. While her team dropped one by one with injuries, the most important position on the field became the designated runner, ie Jen-ai. While ice packs ran low and players enjoyed the comfort of the dug-out Jen-ai played her position on "D" then rounded and rounded and rounded the bases. She crossed the plate enough times already for a season of runs. Im not even sure she knew were her dugout was since she never sat in it once. Great job Jen-ai, and hope for you your team gets all healed up!

Sully's Lounge played two solid games that both went down to the wire. In both games they won with walk-off hits to win their games. In the second it was Thomas T. That decided the game with his 2 run homer in the bottom of the 7th with 2 outs. The final score was 12 to 11 with Sully's heading to the bar with two wins under their belt.

This weeks player of the week goes to Alex Budinich for his hitting, fielding, and coaching. Alex did it all on the first day of playoffs. Alex hit shit after shot up the middle getting on base everytime, and knocking in precious runs. He also made his defense look solid by stretching, scooping, and glowing tough throws from the infield to send matters to the bench. Alex kept a take mo prisoner attitude and helped lead his team to the next round of the playoffs. Great job Alex.
