The Spcimen Collectors chose the best time to go on winning streak, in the playoffs. They had only won one game all year but the playoffs are a whole new season.
The Speciman Collectors came out strong from the start. They scored 2 runs in the 1st, 3 in the 2nd, and 1 in the 3rd. All the while holding We've Got the Runs! scoreless for 4 innings. It was 6-0 to start the 5th inning when Brad H stepped up and booted a grandslam making it 10-0. In the bottom of the 5th We've Got the Runs! finally got on the board with a homerun by Matt K. In the 6th We've Got the Runs! went on a run scoring 4 runs to pull it to 10-5, but it wasn't enough. The Specimen Collectors shut them out in the 7th the take the title 10-5. Great game.

Going into the 6th, the score was 4 to 3. Maggy, the pitcher for Liverburst, was doing a great job at keeping Detox from getting too many bases. And so was Trevor for Detox. But in the bottom of the 6th, Oshin of Detox stepped up to the plate and knocked in 2 BIG TIME runs. This kick put Detox up by 3 and their defense in the 7th kept them there. MIDCORE kickball at its finest! Excellent work both teams!!
