In an amazing first season with Underdog the Honey Nut Ichiro's won the championship of their division. In a tightly fought battle with Contract Year the Ichiro's, who battled in honor of the recently traded Seattle Mariner, won 9-8. Relying on the defense that carried them throughout the regular season the Ichiro's were able to hold off multiple rally attempts by Contract Year. The Ichiro's also wanted to dedicate this victory to Coach Dan, who was the fearless leader, and often closer, for the Ichiro's this summer. Nice work Honey Nut Ichiro's!

Underdog vets Empty Pitchers were no stranger to 1st place. With multiple players going on over half a decade of Underdog action, both Empty Pitchers and their opponent Slammers SC, had seen their fair share of championship games. For this reason, neither side was phased when the game turned into an absolute pitchers duel. Both hurlers were tossing in strike after strike as Empty Pitchers went into top of seventh with a 5-3 lead. Slammers SC put up a valiant effort in the seventh getting a run across to make the final score 5-4. In the end, great pitching and defense led the way for the Empty Pitchers, nice job!

The Experience Softball Project or ESP as they are known to many opponents were the number one seed in the Softcore 2 playoffs taking first place in the regular season. The winning didn't stop in the playoffs, in the championship game ESP held off cinderella story I'll Have Another by a score of 12-7. Both ESP and I'll Have Another are known for their great spirit, and attitude and this was ever present throughout the game. Constantly yelling out their numerous catchphrases such as "cold beer here!" or "getcha news!" ESP rode their good vibes all they way the 1st place!
