POTW: Mike Wynn
POTW: Mike Wynn
Canseco's Kids
Mike must have stolen both the cream and the clear from his opposition as he mashed three triples and a single. Mike also pitched well, only giving up one run. The other 6 came as the bullpen blew up and almost gave the game away. The only question we have is - triples? Mike apparently needs to work on his speed.

POTW: Annie Grimes
Indy #1-Sat
During a day filled with great match-ups between evenly matched teams, where any team has equal chance to win the championship in this fun league, some players stand out head and shoulders above the rest. One such player is Anne Grimes. Anne led Indy #1 to their first championship in the history of what is shaping up to be one heck of a franchise. Although Anne is a very inspirational player, it was her ability to perform under pressure that made her stand out among a mired of great players. At the end of the championship game of the Softcore playoffs, with the score tied at 12 and the game in extra innings, Anne came to bat with two men on base. With the pressure mounting, two strikes and rabid crowd of Fremont Dock fans, Anne crushed a line drive single to left center field, thus scoring the winning run and securing her place along Andre Dawson in the Hall of Fame.
